Part Time Milker ( 2 Positions) Responsibilities include: Milking Goats Herd Management Washing dairy equipment Washing down milk parlor. NO mlking experience required. This is a weekend position that involves milking at 5:30am and 5:30pm. Each shift last 3.5 hours to 4 hours. During the months of February through May additional hours maybe requested to help tend to the kids and new does. Starting $7.75/ Hr Benefits Include: Cheese Working with Animals Working in a relaxed farm atmosphere Cheese Making Assistant (1 Position) Responsibllities include: washing dishes, packaging of cheese, weighing cheese, pricing cheese, caring of cheese, washing creamery, washing cheese cellars, caring for cheese in the cheese cellar. This position requires working some weekends. Start time will range between 10am and 12pm. The shifts are eight hours and will end around 6pm or 9pm. Initial training involves a 5 month preceptorship of learning how to package cheese, label cheese, and make various cheeses. The length of the preceptorship is based on individual learning curve, thus it could be shorter. The training shifts will start around 6am or 9am and end around 5pm. This position requires the applicant to be able to work with very little supervision once they are trained.
